The wooden church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was built in the northern part of the village on donations from the owner of the Goldovsky estate Felix Vazhinsky (son of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania A.V. Vazhinsky) in 1795 (1793) on the site of the decayed monastery. In the 19th century. the church was reconstructed. From the chronicle: “At present, the temple is arranged in the form of a ship and does not represent anything remarkable in appearance. The windows in it are in 2 tiers without lattices, there are two domes on the church - deaf, the crosses on them are iron, the roof is wooden. Outside, the church is not painted, there are two entrance doors. The church building is pretty solid. "
In 1856 priest Konstantinov Brenn opened the first public school in Lidchin at the church, and in 1864 he was appointed its teacher. In 1864, a parish Orthodox brotherhood was founded, which included about 80 parish believers. In 1869, there were 135 households and 1210 believers in the Goldovsky parish. In 1907, a church choir operated at the church. From 1908, religious processions began in Goldovo. In 1911 a parish sobriety society was organized.
In 1925, the bells were purchased, the roof of the church was covered with galvanized iron and painted with oil paint. 1976: major external renovation, the roof was cleaned of rust and painted with silver-plated oil paint. The destroyed church foundation has been restored. In 1978 - the internal renovation of the church. In 1979, electricity was supplied to the temple and the bell tower was repaired: 4 pillars were leveled and concreted. 1986-1988 the church fence was repaired.
