Kurgan Immetria

The Mound of Immortality in Lida is located in the central part of the city, in a vast park. It began to pour on May 9, 1966. The result was a pentahedral pyramid with a height of 7 m, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was moved here.
After that, the Kurgan of Immortality became the central place of worship for those who died during the Great Patriotic War. In 1974, the composition was complemented by inclined steel pylons, which symbolize the barrels of artillery pieces.
